Andrea McKee grew up in sunny Sacramento, California, where she started writing stories and poems at just eight years old. By eleven, her words were published in the local newspaper.

 

Today, Andrea lives near Dallas, Texas, with her husband Chris, their two amazing kids, and a lively bunch of furry and finned pets. When she’s not writing, Andrea loves volunteering with her family, thrifting, and baking cookies. Her favorite thing to share—besides cookies!—is the amazing love and hope she’s found in Jesus Christ. Andrea hopes her stories help kids discover that same joy and purpose.
